Historic Restoration Complete
After months of careful restoration, we are pleased to announce that the column construction on our Main House is now complete. Preserving the rich history and architectural integrity of the Thomas Smith Rhett House, originally built circa 1820, has remained at the heart of this project from the very beginning. The newly restored columns were designed to honor our home’s historic character while ensuring this beloved landmark continues to be enjoyed for generations to come. Located in the heart of Beaufort’s historic district and welcoming guests since 1987, our Bed and Breakfast is proud to continue blending timeless Southern charm with thoughtful preservation.
Breakfast on the Veranda
Porch season is finally here at the Rhett House Inn! With construction finished, guests can once again relax on the beautiful veranda, including enjoying breakfast outdoors beneath the iconic columns. Plus, guests staying in our upper-level rooms may also once again enjoy access to their private veranda spaces.
So what will it be? Blueberry pancakes for breakfast on the porch? Maybe a mimosa or two? We’re ready to welcome you back on the veranda.
